A two day Nippon Japanese Film Festival will be held at KIIT from Friday.The festival is being organized by KIIT school of Film & Media Sciences and School of Mass Communication in association with Japan Foundation and Consulate General of Japan in
Kolkata. The inauguration of Film Festival will be in presence of Masayuki Taga, Consul General of Japan and Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KISS and KIIT.

A selection of four Japanese films with English subtitles will be screened in the festival, with two films will be shown each day. The films ‘The Letter’ ‘Swing Girls’, ‘Garden of Words’ and ‘Thermae’ will be screened.

KIIT Film & Media Sciences School has been organizing many national and international film festivals and workshops and seminars on film making, direction, cinematography etc regularly from time to time since its inception in 2009. The school has also been organizing Kalinga International Film Festival since last three years. Films from various countries of the world are screened in this festival.
