Odisha Parba-2018 concluded recently. Organised at Surat from 2-3 September, the two-daycelebration of Odisha’s culture, tradition, heritage &cuisinewitnessed heavy footfall.The event also showcased the history of Odisha through a 3D film.
Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India,Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan, presiding over the valedictory functionsaid “Odisha Parba was started in Delhi and reached at Surat today and in upcoming days the festival will alsobe celebrated in other states.”
Live performance by Abhijeet Majumdar, BabooPanigrahi and Sohini Mishra apart,Sambalpuri dance, Gahani, Animal mask dance, Bonda dance, Odisha classical fusionand Garba dance enthralled the audience. The Paika theme song dance Mangala Ghata Nritya from Bhanjanagarwas also staged for the masses.
