An Objective to explore the talent & creativity of the Students
“SARGIFUL” the State Level Students’ Festival started in the year 2010 with an objective to explore the hidden talent of the Students of the ST & SC development department schools. This year “SARGIFUL” is celebrating its ninth anniversary which is inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister today at 11:30 AM.
“SARGIFUL” 2018 will be held from 19th December to 21st December 2018 for 3 days at Adivasi Exhibition Ground of the capital City. Around 925 students and 142 teachers from ST & SC development Department run Seva ashrams, Ashram Schools, High Schools and EMRS & Education Complexes from all the thirty Districts of the state have participated in this event. District level functions were organized during in the previous month and the District authorities have selected the best one in each event to participate in the State Level function.
Workshops will be held every day from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM for both Senior and junior groups. Some of the key activities of the event include Odishi Dance, Creative Dance, Wall Painting, Tribal Painting, and Screen Painting, 3D Street Art, Creative Writing, Photography, Instrumental Music, Math Game, Science Game, Best of West, Magic, Terracotta Jeweler, Lamp Shade, Self Defense, Child Reporter, Communication Skill and Straw Craft. Science Exhibition is organized on 19th and 20th December from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
Around 132 students who have secured highest marks in HSC Exams 2018 and 50 High Schools who have performed the best will be felicitated during the “SARGIFUL”- 2018
All sorts of arrangements for food, lodging and other facilities have been made by the Department for successful organization of the Events. The participating students & teachers will have the opportunity to interact with each other during the festival and disseminate & propagate the messages among the students in their area after they returned for the festival.
The foundation stone for ‘Janajati Haat’ have also been laid by Hon’ble Chief Minister during the Inaugural function.
