Paying homage to the architect of the Constitution, Dr. Tapan Kumar Chand, CMD of NALCO, garlanding the statue of Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and offering his floral tributes on the occasion of 128th Birth Anniversary celebration of Dr. Ambedkar at Nalco Nagar, Bhubaneswar.
The 128th Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was celebrated at Nalco Nagar, Bhubaneswar on 14th April 2019. Paying homage to the architect of the Constitution, CMD Dr. Tapan Kumar Chand garlanded the statue of Dr. Ambedkar and paid his floral tributes.
Addressing the gathering Dr. Chand, highlighted on the life and contributions of Dr. Ambedkar. Directors of the Company, Senior Officials along with employees, representative of various union & associations including NALCO SC-ST Welfare Association, and other distinguished personalities from different walks of life also joined the celebration and paid their homage to Dr. Ambedkar. As part of the celebration, prizes were handed over to the children who had participated in various competitions. Besides, a tribal dance performance and distribution of hygiene kits among slum children were also organized on the occasion.
