National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), the Navratna PSU of Govt. of India, joined the nation in celebrating World Environment Day on June 5. To mark the occasion, mass plantation drives were undertaken at the company’s units and offices.
Dr. Tapan Kumar Chand, CMD, NALCO, formally launched the plantation drive by planting a sapling in the premises of Nalconagar, Bhubaneswar, the residential colony of the company. Besides, Directors of the company, Senior Executives, employees in large numbers along with their family members also participated with much enthusiasm and planted saplings of fruits & medicinal plants.
