With her charming face and soothing voice Barnali Hota has caught the attention of music lovers by a storm. She commands an army of followers across social media and has garnered quite a name for herself as a new age stage performer along with Euphony. Their Band Barnali and Euphony has toured half the country performing to packed crowds everywhere.
Barnali has performed foot tapping numbers as well as soulful ghazals in various reality shows and she has become a rage on digital media courtesy her soothing voice and easy stage presence. Her latest viral video is a patriotic song released on OdishaLIVE web channel titled ‘Ae Watan Tere Liye’ which got 60k views under 24 hours and more than 1 million views till now on OdishaLIVE Youtube channel : www.youtube.com/odishalive.
Not only in India but the video was watched on OdishaLIVE in other nations such as USA, UK, France, Europe, South Africa, Netherlands, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Muscat, Oman, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain etc.
On the huge success of the video, Barnali says “I am happy that ‘Ae Watan Tere Liye’ reached more than 60,000 likes in one day and was watched in so many cities around the globe. For me it is a great achievement that a song by me got more than 1 million views in the digital space.”
Barnali is an ardent fan of Odia music and has created many a fusion of Odia and other songs to take Odia language to a larger platform. “We are proud of Barnali for having showcased Odia culture on the National and International platform” say her parents Mr. Surya Narayan Hota & Mrs. Mamta Mishra.
