Vice President of India presented ‘Best Innovative Law School’ Award to KIIT
Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) Law School has been awarded ‘Legal Education Innovation Award’ 2018 for Innovation and Leadership in Skills Training of Law Graduates. Mr. M. Venkaiah Naidu, The Vice President of India presented this award to KIIT Law School the occasion of Law Teacher’s Day on 1st September 2018 at a special function organised by Society of Indian Law Farms and Menon Institute of Legal Advocacy Training.
Prof. N. K. Chakraborty, Director, KIIT School of Law received the award from the Vice President of India. Every year the Society of Indian Law Farms and Menon Institute of Legal Advocacy jointly give this award to outstanding Law institutions of the country.
Congratulating KIIT Law School, Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS said, “this success will continue to inspire the students and faculty members of KIIT Law School”.
KIIT Law School is the only private Law institution in India to get such prestigious award. On this occasion Mr. Naidu said about his experience during his visit to KIIT Deemed University and conveyed his good wishes to KIIT Law School for this award.
Earlier in 2013 and 2017, KIIT Law School students proved their excellence by getting best prizes in various National Moot Court Competitions organized by Bar Council of India (BCI).
