  • The Nepal King receives a grand welcome

 “I thank the amazing crowd for extending such a grand reverence. As a way to lead a virtuous life, Sanathan Dharma has the ability to orient our mind, body and soul to spiritual awakening”, said the former King of Nepal Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev today at the International Go Sambardhana Mahostyav at Gadarathipur near Jatni.

He joined the Go-Viswasanti Mahajagyan as royal guest of honour and offered purnaahuti there. The socio-spiritual event was organized by Shree Marg, an organization working with a mission to popularize Hindu rituals as well as applied spirituality.

“I commend Shree Marg and Wow Cow Mission for their untiring efforts towards achieving this noble goal,” the King mentioned.

The royal guest laid the foundation stone of the Gobinda Go-Mata Mandira, the first of its kind temple dedicated to Mother Cow and inaugurated the Goshala constructed over a 3.5 acre land in Rathipur, exclusively with Indian desi cow. A number of saints and a huge crowd gathered at this occasion.

The former King of Nepal was felicitated by a cross section of personalities at the venue like the Regional CEO of Apollo Hospitals (Odisha & Chhatisgarh) Sudhir M Digijar, Centre Head TCS – Bhubaneswar Santosh Panda, Ruchi Director Arvind Sahoo, writer Devdas Chhotay, political personalities Lekahshree Samantasinghar and Shankar Parida.

The former King of Nepal received felicitations at places like Sundarpada, Pradhan Sahi Square and Jamukolia Square by the local communities on his way from Bhubaneswar to Rathipur. He was given a grand welcome at Gada Rathipur on his arrival at the venue. A whole day free and mega health check up camp was organized there in this occasion by Hi-Tech medical College & Hospital.

The royal guest also released a book titled ‘Urmi Adhira Rupasi Chilika’ written by Dipti Ranjan Martha, founder, Shree Marg at Bhubaneswar at evening.

This is going to help immensely to encourage people to adopt desi cows and put a full stop to their extinction” shared Sibasis Satapathy, Secretary, Shree Marg.
