Daylong conclave to discuss on promotion of Brand Odisha
Hotel and Restaurant Association of Odisha (HRAO) is organizing the third edition of its annual Odisha Tourism Conclave on 24th August. The conclave being organized in collaboration with Odisha Tourism would discuss debate and deliberate on possible issues and remedies to promote and propagate Brand Odisha and Odisha Tourism. The theme of this year’s conclave is ‘Tourism: The driving force of Future Economy’
All stakeholders like Government, Industry bodies, Tour operators, Travel Writers, Media persons and the general public will be in attendance for the annual event. The Inaugural ceremony would be graced by Odisha Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal.
“At the Odisha Tourism Conclave, experts deliberate, debate and brainstorm how to promote Odisha as a sustainable tourist destination rather than promoting Odisha as any other ordinary product.” said HRAO Chairman and Swosti Group CMD, Mr. JK Mohanty regarding the event to OdishaLIVE.
Apart from the inaugural and closing sessions, four power packed technical sessions on various aspects of tourism have been lined up by the organizers. The sessions would be interesting to watch the flow of ideas, raising of questions and arriving at possible conclusions to address and remedy the possible issues.
The technical sessions are as follows:
- Branding and positioning Odisha as a Premier Tourist Destination
- Developing the tourism ecosystem of Odisha – Policy, Safety and Value Added Services.
- Ease of Doing Hospitality Business – Infrastructure, Connectivity and Facilities
- Connecting Eastern India with Odisha as a 21 Night Destination
