National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has instituted state-level awards for meritorious engineers, who have introduced and adopted Green Technology in the industrialization of Odisha.
The award titled ‘NALCO Green Awards for Engineering Excellence’ shall be given annually on the occasion of Engineers’ Day.
The 1st prize comes with a cash award of Rs.2 lakh, and the 2nd prize entitles to a cash award of Rs. 1 lakh. Two 3rd prizes with cash award of Rs. 50,000/- each will be given out by the PSU, along with citations to all the winners.
NALCO has sought online applications for the green awards through its website, till 08.12.2018. Interested engineers may apply online with supporting documents.
